Appointments and practical questions

How do I book an appointment?

By phone on +30 210 6743342 or by e-mail at [email protected]. In your e-mail, give your name, a phone number and the days that suit you, and we will call to confirm. Visits are by appointment only.

I am in pain. Can I come in today?

Call the practice and tell us you are in pain. We will try to see you as soon as possible. If swelling is spreading towards the eye or throat, or you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, call 166 or 112 immediately.

How much does a treatment cost?

Cost depends on the clinical picture, which is why we do not publish a price list. After the examination we give you a treatment plan with its cost, before anything begins. A receipt is issued for every payment.

What if I can't make my appointment?

Please let us know as early as possible, so the time can be given to another patient.

Treatments

How often should I have a check-up?

It depends on each person's risk. International guidelines suggest anywhere from 3 months to 2 years for adults. Many adults come every 6 to 12 months. After each check-up we will tell you when the next one is recommended.

I'm afraid of the dentist. What can we do?

Tell us from the start. We explain every step before we do it, agree a signal to stop, and go at your pace. We can start with a visit just to meet and talk.

Are dental X-rays safe?

Dental X-rays involve a very low radiation dose. Even so, we only take them when there is a clinical reason. If you are, or might be, pregnant, please let us know.

Can I have dental treatment during pregnancy?

Check-ups, cleaning and necessary treatments can usually go ahead, preferably in the second trimester. Some non-urgent treatments, such as whitening, are postponed. Let us know about your pregnancy when you book.

I take blood thinners or other medicines. What should I do?

Do not stop any medicine on your own. Tell us about all the medicines you take. If needed, we will liaise with your doctor before any treatment.

What if I need treatment that isn't done at the practice?

For certain specialised treatments, such as orthodontics or surgery, we work with specialist colleagues. We explain beforehand who will do what and coordinate the treatment.
